Kyuden to Acquire IHI Power Services in U.S. Energy Services Expansion

Kyuden International has agreed to acquire IHI Power Services Corp., a U.S. provider of operations, maintenance and asset management services for power generation facilities.

The transaction will bring IHI Power Services into the Kyuden Group through its U.S. subsidiary, Kyuden International Americas. The deal marks Kyuden's first investment in an operations-and-maintenance-focused energy services business in the U.S.

IHI Power Services supports a wide range of generation assets, including natural gas and renewable energy facilities, helping operators optimize plant performance and maintain regulatory compliance.

The companies said the partnership will combine Kyuden's global energy expertise with IHI Power Services' U.S. operational capabilities to expand services and strengthen support for power producers nationwide.

Financial terms were not disclosed.
