EQT Infrastructure, through Otello BidCo, made a cash offer to acquire Swedish renewable energy developer OX2 for ~$1.51B. The deal aimed to transform OX2 into a renewables developer and integrated asset owner.
Aker BP ASA completed its combination with Lundin Energy's oil and gas business in a cash-and-share transaction valued at approximately $13.9 billion, creating one of the largest publicly listed pure-play E&P companies in Europe. Under the deal, Lundin shareholders received $2.22 billion in cash plus 271 million Aker BP shares.
EQT Active Core Infrastructure Fund and and the Public Sector Pension Investment Board completed its $3.0 billion take-private acquisition of Radius Global Infrastructure in March 2024. Radius owns critical telecommunications infrastructure including renewable energy land leases.
EQT Infrastructure VI acquired UK-based battery storage and flexible generation developer Statera Energy from InfraRed Capital Partners in 2024. Statera holds 1 GW operational/under construction and a 16 GW pipeline of projects across the UK.
EQT Transition Infrastructure, through the investment vehicle Box BidCo S.A.S., completed its acquisition of a 54.1% majority stake in French renewable gas producer Waga Energy SA for approximately €21.55 per share (~$600M). The investment accelerates Waga Energy's international growth, particularly in the U.S., as it scales renewable natural gas production.
