INEOS Energy completed the acquisition of the US Gulf business held by CNOOC Energy Holdings U.S.A., a U.S. subsidiary of CNOOC International. The deal increases INEOS Energy’s production globally to over 90 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day.
BP plc completed the acquisition of Archaea Energy Inc. for an enterprise value of approximately $4.1 billion, including approximately $800 million of net debt. Houston-based Archaea Energy is the largest renewable natural gas (RNG) producer in the United States, operating 50 RNG and landfill gas-to-energy facilities and producing approximately 6,000 boe/d of RNG.
Ithaca Energy plc completed the acquisition of JAPEX UK E&P Limited from Japan Petroleum Exploration Co., Ltd. (JAPEX) for approximately $193 million in cash. The deal added non-operated interests in the Seagull and other UK North Sea fields, complementing Ithaca's existing UKCS portfolio.
ChampionX Corporation acquired UK-based RMSpumptools Limited for approximately $110M, expanding its electric submersible pump (ESP) artificial lift offering with RMS's intelligent ESP technology platform serving the offshore and harsh environment markets.

KCA Deutag is a global drilling company and has a significant land drilling presence in the Middle East, with additional operations in South America, Europe and Africa.
Harbour Energy announced the acquisition of the Wintershall Dea asset portfolio, comprising substantially all of Wintershall Dea AG's upstream assets.
Octopus Energy Group completed the acquisition of Shell Energy Retail in the UK and Germany from Impello Ltd., a subsidiary of Shell Petroleum Co. Ltd. The company will migrate 1.3 million home energy customers to its systems in the UK and Germany.

EQT Infrastructure VI acquired UK-based battery storage and flexible generation developer Statera Energy from InfraRed Capital Partners in 2024. Statera holds 1 GW operational/under construction and a 16 GW pipeline of projects across the UK.
ContourGlobal acquired a 151 MW solar portfolio consisting of two late-stage projects in South Carolina from Sun Tribe Development in 2024, marking ContourGlobal's entry into the U.S. renewables market.
