BlackRock (NYSE: BLK) completed its $12.5 billion acquisition of Global Infrastructure Partners in October 2024. GIP is the largest independent infrastructure manager by assets under management globally, with over $100 billion in AUM across infrastructure equity and credit strategies supported by approximately 400 employees.
EQT Infrastructure VI acquired UK-based battery storage and flexible generation developer Statera Energy from InfraRed Capital Partners in 2024. Statera holds 1 GW operational/under construction and a 16 GW pipeline of projects across the UK.
Quantum Capital Group acquired Cogentrix Energy from Carlyle for approximately $3.0 billion. Cogentrix operates 5.3 GW of natural gas-fired power generation across the U.S.
EG Group acquired Cumberland Farms for $2.15 billion in October 2019. The deal added 567 stores across eight U.S. Northeast states to EG's portfolio.
ARKO Corp. (Nasdaq: ARKO) subsidiary GPM Investments acquired Pride Convenience Holdings, which operates 31 convenience stores in highly desirable locations. The deal expands ARKO's convenience store footprint into Massachusetts, making it the 34th state in which the company will operate.

Engie completed its $1.6 billion acquisition of Houston-based battery storage developer Broad Reach Power from EnCap Energy Transition in August 2023. The deal added 350 MW of operating battery storage and a 2.7 GW pipeline.
Energy Transfer LP (NYSE: ET) completed its $1.45 billion acquisition of Lotus Midstream Operations from an affiliate of EnCap Flatrock Midstream in May 2023. The deal added the Centurion Pipeline crude oil gathering system spanning the Permian Basin to the Cushing, Oklahoma, hub.
ONEOK acquired Medallion Midstream from Global Infrastructure Partners for $2.6 billion. The deal added the largest crude gathering system in the Midland Basin of the Permian, with over 1,300 miles of gathering pipelines.
