Phillips 66 acquired Pinnacle Midstream from Energy Spectrum Capital for $550 million in May 2024. The deal added natural gas and water gathering assets in the Midland Basin, expanding Phillips 66's NGL value chain.
Targa Resources completed its $3.55 billion cash acquisition of Riverstone-backed Lucid Energy in July 2022. The deal added 1,050 miles of natural gas gathering pipelines and 1.4 Bcf/d of cryogenic processing capacity in the Delaware Basin.
Spire Inc. (NYSE: SR) acquired MoGas Pipeline (an interstate natural gas pipeline) and the connected Omega Pipeline from CorEnergy Infrastructure Trust for $175 million in January 2024. The 263-mile MoGas system primarily serves Missouri, including Spire's existing utility customer base.
Woodside Energy completed its all-stock merger with BHP's petroleum business in June 2022 to create one of the world's top 10 independent E&P companies by production. The combined entity was valued at approximately $28 billion and produces approximately 200 mmboe annually.
Energy Transfer LP (NYSE: ET) completed its $7.1 billion all-equity acquisition of Crestwood Equity Partners in November 2023, expanding its midstream footprint in the Williston, Delaware, and Powder River basins. The deal added Crestwood's gathering, processing, and storage assets.
Energy Transfer LP (NYSE: ET) completed its $3.25 billion acquisition of WTG Midstream from affiliates of Stonepeak, the Davis Estate and Diamondback Energy in July 2024. The deal added approximately 6,000 miles of natural gas pipelines and eight processing plants in the Permian Basin's Midland Basin.
Energy Transfer LP (NYSE: ET) completed its $1.45 billion acquisition of Lotus Midstream Operations from an affiliate of EnCap Flatrock Midstream in May 2023. The deal added the Centurion Pipeline crude oil gathering system spanning the Permian Basin to the Cushing, Oklahoma, hub.
ONEOK acquired Medallion Midstream from Global Infrastructure Partners for $2.6 billion. The deal added the largest crude gathering system in the Midland Basin of the Permian, with over 1,300 miles of gathering pipelines.
Williams (NYSE: WMB) closed its acquisition of MountainWest Pipelines Holding Company from Southwest Gas Holdings (NYSE: SWX) in a deal including $1.07 billion of cash and $0.43 billion of assumed debt, for an enterprise value of $1.5 billion.
