BP plc completed the acquisition of Archaea Energy Inc. for an enterprise value of approximately $4.1 billion, including approximately $800 million of net debt. Houston-based Archaea Energy is the largest renewable natural gas (RNG) producer in the United States, operating 50 RNG and landfill gas-to-energy facilities and producing approximately 6,000 boe/d of RNG.
