J.P. Morgan Asset Management acquired a 60% stake in Italian renewable energy company Falck Renewables for $1.4B. Falck operates wind, solar, and biomass assets across Europe.
JSW Neo Energy, a subsidiary of JSW Energy, completed the acquisition of Mytrah Energy India for an enterprise value of approximately $1.3 billion. The transaction added 1,753 MW of operating wind power capacity across seven Indian states to JSW's renewable energy portfolio.
Public Service Enterprise Group completed the sale of its 25% equity interest in the 1,100-megawatt Ocean Wind 1 project to Ørsted North America (Ørsted N.A.).
MDU Resources subsidiary Montana-Dakota Utilities signed a purchase agreement to acquire a 49% ownership interest (122.5 MW) in the Badger Wind Farm near Wishek, North Dakota. The acquisition was selected as the least-cost option for MDU customers in its 2024 Integrated Resource Plan, contingent on North Dakota PSC approval.
Asterion acquired a 50% stake in TotalEnergies' Greek renewables portfolio comprising 424 MW of operating and under-construction wind and solar assets, in a transaction valuing the portfolio at €508 million. TotalEnergies retains 50% and continues operating. The deal provides Asterion strategic entry into the Greek power market.
